Plantation Business Sindora plantation activities spans over 6,400 hectares of palm oil and rubber estates complimented by a mill with a 40 tonnes per hour capacity. Sindora strives to achieve sustainable practices in developing a business that is economically viable, environmentally appropriate and socially beneficial. As a testimony of this noble cause which is judiciously evaluated and implemented, Sindora’s oil palm estates and mill were certified with Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) in conformance to RSPO Principles and Criteria:2007 and Malaysian National Interpretation MY NIWG Indicators and Guidance:2008 by BSI Management Systems Singapore Pte Ltd on 29 January 2009.  This certification would enable the Company to gain better premium and preference by the market, hence improving its profitability and returns. 2008 Operational Review
	Oil Palm Plantations Covering an area of more than 6,000 hectares, the oil palm plantation is a source of consistent earnings, enabling Sindora to continue expanding its activities and produce good financial performance.  Two plantations owned by Sindora Berhad are Ladang Sindora and Ladang Sungai Simpang Kiri located in Kluang and Segamat respectively.
	The Oil Palm Mill The mill started operations in 1998, marking Sindora Berhad’s involvement into palm oil’s downstream activities. The commissioning of the mill has enabled Sindora to increase the value of its oil palm thus maximising returns.
	Rubber Plantations Sindora also owns 421 hectares of rubber plantation at Ladang Sindora with an annual production of 500,000 kg of latex and scrap.
